Complete ELISA kit for the determination of human antibodies, directed against ADAMTS-13 and inhibiting its activity.
Test principle
The samples are incubated in micro wells coated with recombinant ADAMTS-13. After binding of anti-ADAMTS-13-autoantibodies to the immobilized protein, unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated anti-human-IgG-antibody is added and binds to the already bound anti-ADAMTS-13-autoantibodies. After a washing step, added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the anti-ADAMTS-13-autoantibody content of the sample
