Complete ELISA kit for quantitative determination of the von Willebrand-factor (vWF) in plasma.
Test principle
The diluted samples are incubated in micro wells that are coated with polyclonal antibodies against vWF together with the conjugate. After the vWF has been bound to the capture antibodies and the peroxidase-conjugated detecting antibodies to the vWF/capture antibody-complex unbound substances are removed in a washing step. Added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the content of vWF in the sample.
