Complete sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of free Protein S in human plasma.
Test principle
The samples are incubated in micro wells coated with monoclonal antibodies against free Protein S. After binding of the free Protein S to the capture antibodies unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase-conjugated detecting antibody that binds to Protein S/capture antibody-complex is added. After a washing step an added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the total free Protein S in the sample.
