Capture and detecting antibodies for the construction of an enzyme immunoassay for quantitative determination of β₂-Glycoprotein I.
Test principle
Micro wells are coated with β₂-Glycoprotein I-antibodies (capture antibody), to which the β₂-Glycoprotein I from the sample binds. Unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated detecting antibody is added and binds to the β₂-Glycoprotein I/capture antibody complex. After a washing step, added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the β₂-Glycoprotein I content in the sample.
