ELISA Anti-β2-Glycoprotein I IgG/M/A

Automatically transferred from the PDF. Please compare details with the original document.

Indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) for the quantitative determination of anti-β₂-Glycoprotein I antibodies (isotypes IgG, IgM or IgA) in human serum.

Test principle

Samples, controls and calibrators are incubated in micro wells, which have been coated with β₂-Glycoprotein I, allowing anti β₂-Glycoprotein I antibodies to bind. Unbound substances are removed by washing. An HRP conjugated detecting antibody, specific for human IgG, IgM or IgA is added and binds to the β₂-Glycoprotein I/ β₂GPI antibody complex. After a washing step, added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the content of β₂-Glycoprotein I antibodies in the sample.
