Capture and detecting antibody for making enzyme-immuno assays for quantitative determination of factor VIII:C.
Test principle
Micro wells are coated with factor VIII:C-antibodies (capture antibodies), to which the factor VIII in the sample binds. Unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated detecting antibody is added to which the bound factor VIII/capture antibody-complex binds. After a washing step an added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the factor VIII content in the sample.
