Capture and detecting antibodies for the construction of an ELISA for the quantitative determination of plasminogen.
Test principle
Micro wells are coated with plasminogen antibodies (capture antibody), to which plasminogen from the sample binds. Unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated detecting antibody is added and binds to the plasminogen/capture antibody complex. After a washing step, added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the content of plasminogen in the sample.
