Latex Assay D-Dimer

Automatically transferred from the PDF. Please compare details with the original document.

Test kit for quantitative determination of D-dimer in human plasma on automated laboratory systems.

Test principle

A reaction between an anti-D-dimer-antibody, adsorbed on a latex particle, and D-dimers from a sample leads to the formation of a high-molecular-weight complex. This reaction increases the turbidity of the solution, which can be photometrically measured. The change in turbidity is directly proportional to the antigen concentration of the sample and can be quantified by utilizing a calibration curve.
