Capture and detecting antibodies for the construction of an ELISA for the quantitative determination of human fibrinogen.
Test principle
Micro wells are coated with fibrinogen antibodies (capture antibody), to which fibrinogen from the sample binds. Unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated detecting antibody is added and binds to the fibrinogen / capture antibody complex. After a washing step, added substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting color is proportional to the fibrinogen content.
