(TAT)-Complex Capture and detecting antibodies for the construction of an ELISA for the quantitative determination of the TAT-complex
Test principle
Micro wells are coated with thrombin antibodies (capture antibody), to which thrombin and TAT from the sample bind. Unbound substances are removed by washing. A peroxidase conjugated anti-antithrombin detecting antibody is added and binds to the TAT/capture antibody complex. After a washing step, added enzyme substrate reacts with the conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colour is proportional to the TAT content of the sample.
